This policy explains how Teakline Interiors Sdn. Bhd. ("Teakline", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through lawnplus.help and in the course of our furniture business. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.
1. What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form, call us, or visit the showroom, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, project address and any details you choose to share about your furniture project. Our website also records standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited, as described in our cookie policy.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations
- To schedule measurement visits, deliveries and installations
- To administer warranties and after-sales support
- To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations in Malaysia
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked for them.
3. Who can see it
Access is limited to Teakline staff who need it to serve you. Where a project requires it, relevant details (for example, a delivery address) may be shared with our own installation crews or a courier. We may disclose data where required by Malaysian law or a court order.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months. Records connected to a completed project are retained for the duration of your warranty plus any period required by tax law, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
5. Security
Personal data is stored on access-controlled systems. Paper records, where they exist, are kept at our registered office and disposed of by shredding.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to further processing. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within twenty-one days.
